Hello All from NC!

Hello all,

Total RV noob here, a little background on me.

Ive been a RN for 3 years 1 year as a travel nurse and im looking to travel out west but with rent being very unpredictable I feel that a Class A RV would be the best choice. The main reason being that at the end of the day I will own this RV and not just waste rent money. I have a beautiful wife and daughter and 3 dogs that would traveling with us and we would be gone from home for around 13 weeks at a time.

My plan is to buy a fixer upper and do the work myself i can do everything except plumbing and engine work. I can do basic plumbing but have not had any real experience with it. And my dad can rebuild anything that has a motor.

Hope to learn alot and hope that this turns out to be the best option.

P.S. I have a pretty cool trick for internet that I think could help alot of people on here but ill see if its posted first before I make a post.

Are you going to buy a gas or diesel Class A? Does your Dad know how to work on a diesel motor?
