I just joined this forum and wanted to say hi. I am a caretaker/caregiver and have been living in an 18ft Toyota motorhome for the past three years. Tomorrow morning I am picking up my new 1989 Gulfstream El Capitan 27ft home. I am so excited about all the room I will have. It is just me and my dog. I am hoping to travel to Texas this winter and maybe to Washington this Spring to visit with my friends who have left California for less expensive pastures. I am very glad to have found this forum.

Mike - Great to have you onboard!

You will really enjoy this site as there are lots of friendly and knowledgeable folk around.

It sounds like you are going to really upgrade in size and comfort.

Best to you and post all about your new rig when you get moved in and settled - Glenn.

Hi Mike and welcome to iRV2! Also best of luck with your new Gulfstream- I'm sure you're gonna enjoy all that new-found space.

If interested, why not visit the iRV2 Chatters chat room? We are there every evening starting around 8:30pm eastern time and have a great time swapping lies and getting to meet new folks.

Hi Mike,

We will be looking forward to hearing about any and all of your adventures.

We are having a wonderful adventure. We are just getting ready to end an Alaska trip. We have been on the road for almost two months. It has been sooooo much fun.

I'm going to hate to see it end, but the plastic is full and the cash is getting low. Time to go home.
