Hello, Everyone

Another re-Newbie. We were members about 10 or so years ago when we had our original 26-foot 1987 Nomad Weekender but we sold it due to non-use and let our membership expire . We're back with a new (to us) 2001 CrossRoads 32-foot (actual 35-feet from spare tire to end of hitch) All American travel trailer that we bought from the original owner/purchaser last July. They made us one of those 'offers we could not refuse' because they were older and wasn't using it. It has one 14-foot slide out, kitchen in front, 4-chair dinette & table, loveseat sleeper and rear queen bed. It came with a pair of McKesh mirrors, Hensley Arrow hitch assembly and a Honda E20001 generator along with 8cf refrigerator/freezer, blankets, comforters, sheets, towels, etc, etc, etc. We had to replace the two batteries, slide-out awning, 5 tires, and main 19-foot awning. The original owner babied this RV and it shows both inside and out. We have to get used to a total of 53 feet from the spare tire to the front bumper of our 1998 Dodge Quad-Cab Cummins Diesel. So far we've only towed it twice from our home in Belen, NM to the Manzano State Park campground about 65 miles away. First time was no hookups (and did very well) and the second was with electric connection only. I have replaced the interior incandescent bulbs with LEDs to have better lighting and use much less power. Hope to see other NM (or elsewhere) iRV members out and around the southwest USA.
