Enjoy it all -- the reading, the research and even convincing your hubby to go full-time.

Remind him that it's not permanent -- it's just a few years of doing something fun and exotic that will expand your horizons and give you a chance to see the wonders and beauty of this continent in a way you just can't do from a hotel room.

You can always sell the rig and go back to a house after a few years -- and the memories you have from your years of full-timing will last you a lifetime.

We hail from the Central Brevard area. We have been toying with the idea of an RV for a few years, but have recently started getting serious. The RV show in Tampa, this past January, basically sent us over the edge... in a good way. I'm the "planner" in the family and have been scouring the discussion groups, dealer websites, as well as visiting local RV dealers and attending more shows. (I think "obsession" will soon be added to my middle name!

) We have pretty much narrowed the field to the Tiffin Allegro 36LA.

As it stands now, we're adding to our "downpayment fund" so we can make our purchase at the end of this year (2013). I, for one, wish we could do it sooner, but don't know too many people who have a spare $25K in their account.

All that being said, thanks for the "welcome" and we will look for you too!
