Hello from AZ Ducted or unducted?

Just signed on and have been lurking for a while tons of experience and great ideas on here. I'm sure I'll be asking some questions and giving some input to help others from my experience's with rv's and the beasts that tow them. Nice to see so many folks who are there to help others with information and guidance.

So here's my first question bought a bigger fifth wheel and it needs a second a/c unit in bedroom. It's wired but ducted or unducted which is quieter? It's got a Coleman low profile 15 in the main coach. Yes I snore and my dear wife gabs and goads, but I have issues with those pesky crickets that chirp in my ears from too many shots down range. We had a travel trailer with a single unit and it wasn't bad but the fifth wheel is new and I'm sure they have made some changes in technology in noise levels etc. We can have them install either type but the ducted unit is more expensive. So.........

Thanks for your help

Welcome. My main AC is ducted and the 2nd in the bedroom is not ducted. As far as noise, both ACs produce the same amount of noise ducted or not (in my case).

Thanks. I'm a little skeptical that they can tie into the ductwork since I think the manufacturer just puts ceiling mounts on.... but we all know the sales guys never really fib about things..........I think they must be related to politicians... I have a message into the manufacturer too .....thanks again.
