Smile Hello from beautiful BC

We are new to forums - have been reading all the good information here as we were on a quest for a (new to us) DP coach. We have really appreciated all the tips etc that is available through the various forums and look forward to learning more. Now if I could only get my hubby to read everything here we would be well on our way to increasing our knowledge about diesel pushers.

lolley: G'morning from Minneapolis area.

Welcome to the iRV2 gang! Nice to have ya aboard. So where are ya from in B.C.? It's sure a beautiful Province. Can't wait to return again for a visit.

So, what are your plans? Ya thinking about full timing? We sold our home and ALL that "stuff" back in 2005 and have been on the road since. Originally out of Duluth, Minnesota but now residents of S. Dakota, my wife's home area around Mitchell.

Again,....WELCOME, and here's hoping ya find that perfect rig.

Lolly, we started out 6 years ago on our quest and bought our DP last December. We start full timing the end of July. You are doing the right thing by seeking info. I also bought a bunch of books on RVing and fulltiming.

Thumbs up Welcome

Hello Lolley, welcome and greetings from the coast region of BC. We bought a few gaser since 76 and are thinking of upgrading to a DP, but we like our little gaser and do not know, if we ever buy a DP now. Lets say we are a bit lazy of changing again!!! We just moved from one stick house to another and are not looking forward to do that again soon????
We are off to a NKK meet in SK.

See you on BC roads soon

Hello Lolley, welcome from the East Kootenay area of BC. We bought our DP in January this year and love it, wish we had traded off the trailer sooner.

See you on the road

Evening to all
We appreciate the warm welcomes. We are in the Okanagan. Have done a 6 month tour way back when in '98 with our Chevy 23.5 C class - from here down to Key West around the gulf of Mexico down the east coast of Mexico across the bottom and up the west coast to home. Only a few short trips since then and just returned from Mesa where we bought our 97 40 DP Mountaine Aire. We are looking at spending the winter in the Arizona area. As much as we would like to sell our house- it can be iffy crossing the border as we know of people that were refused entry because they said they had sold their house. So we will be snowbirds for a few years - have arranged to rent the house and will live in RV full time. We really can't wait now we have experienced the "big rig". Certainly can't get into all the places we could with the gasser but looking forward to the extra space - I'm doing some of the driving with our GMC Envoy as toad - Have only run over 2 curbs and no damage to either vehicle - I'm loving it!
