Hello from California

Just checking in from Los Angeles.

I'm new to RV'ing and we are actually in the market for our first travel trailer. I'm hoping this forum will help me because I'm new to this stuff and could use a lot of advice. I've been shopping for several months and am worried I'm going to make a mistake. I plan to head over to the Travel Trailer discussion forum for some advice.

Just remember advice falls into different categories, like the good, the bad, and the ugly but it's all useful.

It's nice to have you here.

Welcome to IRV2. It can be over whelming looking for the right rig. Best advice is too do a lot of research, ask questions and visit lots of dealerships to look at whats out there and what it actually looks like. Pretty soon you'll form your own opinions about what you like, what you would like to have in your own TT. There are RV shows in the Spring where you can get a look at a bunch of different rigs all under one roof. Take your time and never be pushed into buying a TT believing that your getting "the deal" thats only valid for a RV show for instance. Good luck....

Safe and Happy Travels.

It can be a daunting task in deciding on an RV. Take you time and look at all your options in the price range you can afford.

Best of luck and Happy Trails!!

Find a general floor plan that you like, then look at the 3 top brands as far as quality goes...Names like Arctic Fox, Lance, etc. are a couple. You will have less trouble over time and you'll never be sorry for buying the best, try not to compromise on quality.
