Hello From Charlotte, NC

Hi there,
Our family of 2 adults, 3 kids, 3 dogs and a cat like to go camping as often as possible. Usually this is a few times a year plus a long trip (2 - 4 weeks in the summer). We have a 33 ft Sunset Trail trailer. We dream of an RV but that will have to wait until we retire! Last year we traveled from Charlotte to Maine and the year before from Charlotte to Toronto. I am excited planning next year's vacation.

Welcome to the forum. Checkout Lake Wateree State Park, just a short drive down I77. Great sites, nice lake for swimming and or fishing. They put on a great (really popular) Halloween event and you have to book campsites months in advance.

Just remember.. You can also go SOUTH for Christmas.

Hey, if you happen to be Catholic, and go to church on Daniel's Island, say Hi to Fr. West for me. (I belong to St. Paul the Apostle, his last assignment).
Home is where I park it!
