Hi guys!

Just stopping by to say "Hi" to all nice members out there!

I just signed up at the forum, trying to learn a bit about RVs, as I am trying to put a plan to do a cross-country at the end of august.

In time, I just bought a 1988 Coachmen Catalina with a V8 Ford 350 engine. I have no idea if I did the right thing, but I am definitely excited about it!

It seems like most of the forum members have much newer campers, so I would like to ask if this would be the best forum for someone with an old camper like mine.

Also, any basic guides, books, or local meetings would be great to learn the basics. I literally bought this thing, drove it home and I dont even know how to flush the tanks!

Thanks in advance,

BB

Welcome. I think we always wonder if we did the right thing. The only thing that is important, do you like it?

BBear, You found a great, friendly site. There is so much knowledge available here, just ask.
We also are doing a cross country begining in September starting from California to see the fall colors in Vermont in October then down to Florida and back home. It should be lots of fun. We'll wave as we pass each other.
