This weeken I met one of your members, Mike Brown. He gave me a headsup on your club. I look forward to enjoying your organization.

I've been married to my wife Marlene for 28 years. We've been RVing for about five years. We have four children eight grandkids and 8 great grandkids.

Our travelingcompanion is our dog Fancy, a Lab-Chow mix. We own a Coachmen 28 RLS travel trailer. We camp at regular rv parks, State parks and participate in Coachmen and Good Sam Rallys.

Steve and Marlene -

Glad you ran into our good buddy, Mike, and glad he gave you a Texas Boomers welcome!

We just happen to be having a rally near you over Labor Day weekend! We'll be at RV Ranch in Burleson - just west of Dallas...south of Ft Worth about 20 miles below I-20.

Any chance you and Marlene could come join us for the weekend? I've got sites reserved and would love to put your name on one. Mike and Amber will be there as well as a bunch of other Boomers from all around Texas!

Check your calendar and let me know! You can reply here - or go to the information on the rally by scrolling down the "home page" on irv2 to the section called Regional Chapters, Campouts and Rallies...then click on the South Central Section where you'll find all the information about the Texas Boomers.

Hi Steve and Marlene. Welcome to iRV2 and congratulations on finding the Texas Boomers.

The forums here are every bit as informative and I find them quite a bit less caustic then others. And then there are the 'Boomers! I can tell you that compared to other organization's we have camped with, you will find this more like a loosely but effectively organized group of friends that just like to have fun without alot of formaility. We just spent a week with athe group at the iRV2 National Rally and were quite impressed.

If you can make the Labor Day weekend gathering, you will feel quite welcome. I believe there is also a outing in October in the Athens area near Canton.

If you have any questions or just would like to chat, Diane and I are in Carrollton so we are neighbors!

Welcome Again!
