Welcome to a northern East Texan from a mid East Texan!

I think what you will want for the plate will be TX Classic rather than TX Antique. The difference is that you can drive the classic anytime/anywhere, but the antique is restricted to and from shows and for maintenance purposes. Some folks stretch the truth on that, but that would be less likely to work on a motorhome. Antique registration is renewed at 5 years, while classic is renewed annually, and antique does not require inspection. I am looking at which I want on my 67 F100 and my 88 ASC McLaren Mustang.
