Hello from Eastern Oregon

We have been rving since 1999, but are new to a motor home, (1 yr) and are still learning. Not happy at the moment so here is alittle history.
Purchased a new 2007 Coachman Sportscoach Elite in May of 2008. It is a Cat engine on Freightliner chassis. When we first got home with it the front a/c did not work, the Satellite antenna system was not hooked up television connections were bad, the trans temp gauge did not work and the on board compressor did not work. The dealership was great, they fixed all they could in two different 3 day trips (we live in eastern Or, and they are in Tualatin, Or. 6 hr one way trip).
Since then it has been a fight to get things fixed, Freightliner blaming Coachman, and the other way around. We took it in to two different Freightliners for the temp gauge and the compressor. It came down to Coachmans final hook ups for both, but they denied responsibility. No payment yet. Now we are having issue with the rear A/C it quit cooling, we had a stop engine coolant low light come on. Took it to the CAT dealership and they say it is dirt in the fins between the air cooler and the radiator causing it to over heat and boil out the coolant. Due to the design flaw, they can't get to it so they expect 20 hours @ $80 ph to drop the radiator and clean it. We should have to do this yearly. That is about the straw to break the camels back. Every week there is something else. We are also on our second selonoid (sp) on the battery disconnect. Did I mention we live in our motor home? I have also been told by the dealership that since Forest River bought Coachman the fund at Coacman Industries for Warranty work is very slim. So there is no real support there for our issues. Is this normal? Does anyone else have these problems? I am heart broken at this point.

Sounds like you need to see about the "lemon law". That's a lot!
