hello from eugene oregon

Hi everyone, I just bought my first 1974 Tioga class c motorhome, it's just a baby at 18ft. I have traveled in boyfriends motorhomes in the past, but have always wanted my own. I will be traveling with my 84 y/o mom. I have alot to learn and will take advantage of the winter to do this, so by summer I hope to take a trip that runs as smooth as possible, especially if I have my mom with me. I look forward to getting to know you all.

Hey GailGirl, WELCOME!!

I am in Vancouver, WA! Glad you found your new, vintage, baby and hope that you have wonderful times in her with your Mom.

If you need any great places to take her to, just PM me and I'll give you places that I have been with my 18', vintage, TT.

Please do not hesitate to post any questions or concerns here. NO question is silly and everyone on this forum have been where you are now. Trust me, I've posted my own share of questions and have my own 'duh!!' moments!!

One peice of advice--- winterize your rig and know how to empty your hot water tank and water lines (inside the coach). I thought I had done that, with my rig, and ended up blowing my hot water tank so badly that it looked like an Alien had burst out of it!

Take care and post us your adventures!
