Hello from Europe

Brand new on this forum. I'm Erwin, living in Belgium. I'm doing a total make-over of an Airstream Excella 310. I bought the RV in Florida in 2010 and after a complete technical checkup in Orlando, had it shipped over to Belgium in June 2012. Working about a year and a half on the renovation now. After finding my way on this site, I will try to post some pictures. Last winter, I ended up with a complete empty camper. Removed everything, even the wooden floor Have covered the complete floor with 3cm of PUR insulation plates and put new 12mm of wood multiplex on top. (Sorry, in Europe we note everthing in decimal system, 1inch = about 25mm or 2,5cm) That was the start...1 year later, I'm still progressing... Just put in the new toilet last weekend, new airvents, new cabinets etc. had a huge problem on 1 wiring cirquit (had neg. on the positive, took me a day locate it..)Looks like I will be having some more months of fun. We would like to take the Airstream out on holiday next summer.

Traveling Europe is a lot of fun but it sure has a few extra challenges! Turkey ended up being our all time favorite place to explore as you can pull off and camp on the beautiful Aegean Sea for example. We found old Roman coins and pottery with just casual looks! Welcome to the forum and good luck with your rebuild.
