Hello from Fleetguard
Hi everyone!
My name is Jay and I work for Cummins Filtration, but many of you probably know us as our brand name--Fleetguard. My intention of joining this forum is to try and be an active resource for all of your filtration and cooling system questions. While I likely won't be able to answer every question, every single time, I will do my best to try and be helpful as often (and quickly) as possible.
The first thing I wanted to shed some light on, for those who did not know, is that Fleetguard has always been a part of Cummins. Most people assume that Fleetguard was its own company and that Cummins bought them out, but in fact, Cummins started manufacturing their own line of lube filters back in the 50's under the Fleetguard name. The name has stuck around ever since and the Cummins Filtration business unit of Cummins became official back around 2006. Also, did you also know that Fleetguard is the only brand of filters in the world that is manufactured by an engine manufacturer? Not that this needs to be a big marketing pitch, but that alone should inspire you to take confidence in our products. Fleetguard is Cummins, and we know engines...
I'll keep an eye on threads and try to pop in where I think I can be of help. [moderator edit]

Welcome. Just so happens I am on my way to the Cummins dealer tomorrow to pick up a Fleetguard fuel/separator and sensor for my old rig. FS19519V. Hope the harness connector hasn't changed.

Welcome to the forum and thanks for joining us. It is always great when the manufacturers join us and are willing to provide assistance. As you likely know, most/many of us who frequent these forums are interested in taking great care of our expensive machines. Having an expert available to us is always a good thing.

Nice to have you here. How about a discussion topic of conventional vs synthetic media filters?
