We just joined this group. We've been fortunate to be able to winter out the past three years but this time around we're going to be stuck in place for a while. Blizzards, ice storms, subzero readings, need I say more?
Happy New Years to one and all.

My FIL lives in Windom, Mn and we spent August through mid October there this year and it was already getting too cold for my taste when we made a bee line south to Arizona. Sorry about your weather but if it's any consolation, it was 28 degrees here last night and snowed in Phoenix yesterday!!!
Hello and welcome. I'm a newcomer as well. I left the cold Minnesota winters more than 30 years ago when I moved to Southern California. Can't say I miss it but I do visit family. Just not during the winter months. In fact we just spent a week on the St. Croix while visiting my daughters in Stillwater last July. Have a great New Year and happy trails.
