We are new to this site and somewhat new to camping in an Motor Home, We just got our new Winnabago in June 2011 and have been enjoying it very much. We are looking forward to meeting and making new friends that have the same love for camping as we do. Is there any one out there from our area, hope to hear from all of you on where you may be camping or what you do in the winter.

Hello and Welcome from Zebulon, Noth Carolina. We had a hard time finding friends to camp with since all our friends here work. We are retired. We went to the National IRV2 Rally in Virginia this past September. We met so many people, and we keep in touch and some we camp with once a month. The next Rally is in Tennesee next year so check out the 2012 National Rally thread. In the mean time, we post on the Where are you Camping thread, where we will be and see if anyone wants to meet up. We have five couples that are going to meet in Roanoke Rapids in a couple weeks. This time of year will be hard, but come spring you should be able to get something going. If you are retired, come on down to Florida this winter. We will be going in Janurary for the first time. Good luck and enjoy your travels! If we are in your area next year, we would love to camp with you.

Welcome to the forum. We too are fairly new to the forum and have found it to be a great site with very helpful folks. We live in SE Pa. so we're fairly close to you. The bulk of our camping is usually in the Lancaster area. We really enjoy the friendly welcome you get from the local people there.
