Hello from Houston

Hi! I just joined IRV2. Since the moderator requested that I introduce myself in New Member Check-In, and since I usually try to follow the rules...

My wife and I are planning to full-time when I retire in 2014. In fact, before that we want to downsize and sell the house, get a rig, and live in an RV park while I continue working so we can save some money. We don't have a rig yet and hope we can get some good info with regard to 5th Wheels and Travel Trailers and tow vehicles here.

I'll be posting some questions in the next day or so.

Harry, welcome aboard iRV2. One thought....If you have never lived in an RV or RVed, you need to rent one and try it for a short time to see how it goes. We are in Cypress and be happy to show you our 5er.

We are on the same plan as you, but getting ready ato put the house on the market pretty soon and go to the 5er full time.

Ken

There are a lot of Texas Boomers in the Hosuton area. Check them out in the South Central area down under Clubs and Rallies.

Hi Harry, welcome to IRV2. Take your time finding the right RV for you. The floorplan is one of the most important things to look at. As TXiceman recommended, rent to be sure you like the lifestyle. Good luck and keep us posted.
