I have not been lurking too long. But, now I can join in when I see an exciting thread. Happy New Year everyone.

My DW and I have a 2005 30 ft TT we bought last year. We pull it with a 3/4 ton Suburban. We have only been out a few times last Summer/Fall to the Texas Hill Country and to Huntsville and Lake Livingston State Parks. So far we enjoy RVing very much. We hope to learn much from the many experts here on the forum.

Grumpie

Grumpie, welcome to iRV2. We have a pretty active bunch of folks called the Texas Boomers (link in my signature). Also scroll down to the South Central Area and see what we are up to.

Well heck Grumpie, you could have had one of the paid for empty spots at Cagle this past weekend.

Check out the Texas Boomers, we're serious about having fun.

Let me add my welcome to iRV2 and my invitation to check out the Texas Boomers. We'd love to meet y'all. By the way, Grumpy is what my great grandson calls me.

Don and Rusty,

My DW and Grandkids also have from time to time called me Grumpie. I figure if the name fits, wear it. I had fun trying to come up with an appropriate name. Many many so creative, humorous and meaningful names have already been taken, including just plain silly ones. Anyway, I got a good chuckle over the process.

The Grump.
