Hello from Indiana

Hey everybody, and thank you for the add, im not new to the camping world but I am new to owning my own camper, ive always camped with my parents growing up but I haven't been able to due to them divorcing and my dad sold the travel trailer he had a 24 ft salem Le bunkhouse was really nice. Well I moved out and got my own place and ended up getting married to my wonderful wife, we have been married for 1 year from last sunday we have known eachother for a total of 4 years and dated for 2, we have went tent camping but she has ruptured disc in her back so it was painful even with an air mattress. It was hard for us to enjoy the experience with this medical issue I added her to my insurance and took her to physical therapy her back is now much better but for the fear of it still bothering her I set out to find us a little camping trailer. We were out of town for a week and I saw on facebook my buddy was selling his 1997 Jayco eagle 10 pop up just the perfect size for us I contacted him and as soon as I got back from Tennessee I went to check it out I saw it needed some work but overall was in good shape the floor has been completely replaced and resurfaced the beds and slide outs were in great shape and working order he pointed out that it needed a small board replaced on the front on the roof which I have already replaced next is to put some new silicone cocking on the trim along the bottom of the roof due to it starting to come off other than that everything else works it doesn't have a cook stove he took it out and I think it had a sink but im not sure im new to the whole pop up thing, the canvas has 2 tears in it on the corner of the king size bed and the full size bed but it doesn't leak any its ripped below the bed so it pulls past it, I was amazed at the size that these pop out into I will probably be asking several questions as I would like to know about the sink and stove top as I would like to find some and reinstall. Im hoping to make new friends on here as well and you never know might meet some of you at some point in time

Hi Tim! Welcome to IRV2! We're really glad you joined the bunch here!

Congrats on the new rig! Hope you enjoy the forum! BTW, there's a pop-up discussion that you might find useful. Just put your mouse pointer over "RV Forums" in the green bar at the top, then look under "Travel trailer/5th wheel", and click on "Pop-up Discussion".

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
