Hello from Las Vegas!

Just joined looking forward to interacting and learning. I am recently retired looking for a new Rv. We really like the class b+ 2014 leisure travel unity model with twin beds. The RV is more than most but I like the quality is seems to make a lot of the space in a sprinter. I guess they don't discount much off the MSRP and they seem to have a nice resale value. It should be a nice choice for 5 years for the two of us, two chihuahuas and a cat.

I will do some searching any tips would be appreciated on the buying process and financing.

Thanks!

Doug and Gari-Jo

Good luck with your search, I've read 30%+ is a guideline off new price but read around I could have remembered incorrectly.

You may find it is not big enough if it will be for Full Time use.

Would be fine for weekend or even 1 week trips.

Hi Doug and Gari-Jo

Welcome to the forum.

In your search for an RV in Vegas I would highly recommend checking out the inventory at Johnny Walker's RV on Boulder Highway.

They've been in Las Vegas for many years, and to the best of my knowledge, have a great reputation.

As for financing I would shop different financial institutions for the lowest interest rate.

Best of luck in your search for a new RV

welcome to IRV2. the unity is a beauty. I especially like it in the lighter wood. Love those cabinets. Sharp lil' thing from the outside to. I'm sure your cat will go wild if that's the way you want to go. Won't comment on your space situation but just say look well and explore your options. You say 5 years before you know it, it'll be 7 then 9...

Enjoy your retirement and your travels. See the USA in your Mercedes-let.

Well we got an RV we really liked the Leisure unity with the twin beds. The problem is the seating looked uncomfortable for dining and watching TV. We got a 2014 Thor Citation sprinter. we went to an RV show near closing lol just timed out since we drove 400 miles to Phoenix Az. I got quotes on the internet and held strong to 30% off MSRP. The came back within 5200 lol I threatened to walk. They matched it. They tried to then sell me some warranty packages. When I said no they gave me the costco discount which was about half off. I did get the warranty on the entire inside for 3800 I think. I also got a 900 clear coat on the paint with inside treatments. I visioned love bugs in Florida ugh and now know why I see ladders on the back of RVs. If someone can recommend some must have publications and memberships that would be great.
