Hi all,
Wife and I just bought our first motorhome. We got a repo'ed 2000 Alpine Coach 40 footer in nice shape for a great price. I am told by some that it was a big step for the first rig, but I like driving it,so I'm fine. We just traded our 2008 Mercury Mariner for a 2008 Escape hybrid so we have a toad. Now I have to get the tow bar, lights and brakes set up. First trip will probably be in August, short run down to the Oregon beaches. I am retired the wife is still working so we have to work around her vacations. We will be traveling with our two Jack Russells so it should be interesting. Anyway looking forward to the lifestyle, already impressed by the camaraderie.

Gary & Cathy;

Welcome to iRV2. We are glad you joined us. Congratulations on your new to you Alpine Coach. I believe you made the right move. There is nothing like starting out where you are likely to end up anyway.

Post often and share your travel adventures with us. Don't be afraid to ask questions.
