Hello from Lexington Ky.

Good morning all,

First time poster here. I have been lurking here for a while and taking in all of the great information the board has to offer.

I will be picking your brains and gathering more information as we go along, as I am currently doing my research on a new or used toy hauler.

Hello Pappi!
I went to school at UK many moons ago. Sister lives there now. Going to visit when the weather warms. She is on the south side near Alumni Dr. We know of camping at the Horse Park, but that is 20 miles away.... Do you know of any parking on the south side near Alumni? Was thinking about approaching some churches for a couple nights parking during the week. Enjoy the forum. See you're already getting questions!

Hey, pullin' chocks,

The only place I can think of is Walmart off of I-75, near rt. 60 and Costco at 75 and Man O' War.

The new Cabelas will be open in the spring and I think they allow parking also. It is right next to Costcos. Both are probably about 4 miles from Alumni.

Hello Neighbor! We are about 30 miles east of you in Winchester. Good luck getting that perfect rig and have fun seeing our beautiful countries.

Pappi,

Welcome to the board. I am glad you have searched around a bit. I was doing the same before joining but found this to be one of the best, if not the best, place to find information. I have adopted several ideas from this site and I am sure you will also.

Hey thank you Pappi.
We have not tried a Cabell yet, but have seen some with rv spots and even a waste water dump I believe. We are good Cabell customers so that should be a good fit!

I'll add welcome to the forum from a former KY resident. Lived there about 10 years total, about 5 in Louisville area and last 5 in Paris just north of you a bit. Moving back is on our retirement consideration list.
