Hi Bob,
Welcome to iRV2. I've been where you are. iRV2 and Mexican Hat are both great places. I was there in 2009. I'd like to go back and visit again, but it is a very long way from south Florida.

Thanks for the welcome, Mexican Hat , is about 22 miles north of the Arizona line on the San Juan River.
Stop by if you don't blink you could miss it.

Chickadee,
If you don't have Mexican Hat on your "Bucket List" you should consider it. Monument Valley, Valley of the God's, Lake Powell are awesome. Like no place else in the USA!

Wow, lots of people have been to Mexican Hat. Us too!! Last May we were in southwest Utah, Glendale, seeing the canyons and drove back through Page, AZ and up into southeast Utah toward 4 corners and on to Cortez, CO for the night.

Beautiful country.

Welcome to the forum. It's a great place.

Been there several times. Make sure you see Goosenecks State Park and Valley of the Gods. We've eaten at the Swinging Grill steak house and found it to be the best (and maybe only) place in town to eat. As a side note, Mexican Hat was a favorite haunt of John Wayne during some of his western movie shoots.

Welcome Bob,
Hope to see that area of the country some day soon. However, right now is a good time to be on the Sunny Gulf coast. Come on down and join us.
