Welcome from another Michigander. Nice choice in a coach! If you get a chance, take a trip to Nappanee and take a factory tour at Newmar. Free camping if you want to stay overnight.

Greetings from Traverse City, Michigan. My wife and I are near retirement and about to get back into RV travel. I have spent years traveling in airplanes, very tired of airports and now have the chance to revisit many of the places I have been before,,,,, except from the ground. We are days away from purchasing our used motorhome ( believe a 2003 Winnebago 35u) and are looking forward to meeting new people in many of the great places in North America. Hope to see some of you on the road some day.

We are in the final negotiation for a 2003 35u Adventurer. The owner is the perfect seller. If anything my concern is the low mileage at 22,000. The coach has been loved and cared for with every thing but the new coach smell and price tag. Final PPI next week. Any advice, thoughts or ideas? Thanks. Mike

Tires are always a concern, even if its been sitting.

Well we went ahead and made the leap. We are officially Adventurer owners. The previous owner is moving their stuff out this weekend and we pick it up Monday. The PPI and road tests convinced us the coach was loved and fed well. Only issues that came up was some surface rust on the bottom edge of the bay door cabinets on the drivers side and just over the entry step. Back up camera monitor quit while we were there (suspect fuse) but it runs like a champ is very clean and has low miles. Best part is it is the floor plan we were looking for (35U is pretty common) and the interior had towels and blankets covering everything. Owner said it always had. When we pulled them the upholstery looked new. Thanks to y'all for the help. Hope to see you on the road soon.
