Hello From New Bern, NC

Well we took the plunge today and brought home a 2001 Carriage Cameo 5th wheel. We are very excited and look forward to getting to know our purchase and the RV world in general. A big thank you in advance for answering all of my dumb newbee questions.

Mike no question is dumb!!

I camped with my parents in an oversized pickup camper during the 60's and 70's. Bought my 1st 5ver in 99. I'm on my 3rd 5ver now. I still ask questions.

Welcome, Welcome, from a fellow North Carolina resident, near Goldsboro. We sold our little place in Atlantic Beach in '98 to start into this style of travel and living. We spend some time on Cherry Point MCAS at their RV park. We now spend almost 10 months/year gone. Makes me wonder why we still keep the stick home .

Ask away, we have a bunch of real experts around here.

Start with buying this Christmas stocking stuffer item MonacoMama (MM for short) started a thread on over a year ago-- It'll be a great addition for your new rig. I think a million, or so, of us now have them and are absoutley crazy over 'em.

Best of luck and travel safe as most of us try to do---

Welcome to the forum. We have just joined as well. We just purchased an 05 Camoe 35ckq as well, but we had a park model before. We will likely both learn a lot of unanswered questions about the new hobby. Hope you enjoy your rig as much as we enjoy ours.
