I have not had an issue with my slide, but the slide on ours is only the couch, if you have the full wall slide it might be a bit different. I have two bubble levels at the drivers seat. I carry four 2X10 boards and the plastic level blocks. I'm at Edisto State Park in SC right now, had to use them all to raise the front, but only took a couple minutes.

You'll really enjoy your View, I know we do. We use it often. Your getting better mileage then I do. I get about 15 traveling at 60. I think the newer MB Diesels were getting better mileage. Have fun.
