Hello all, I deicided this was the year not to be seeping in a tent and I wanted to find something that I could buy cheap and fix up a little at a time . I bought a 1978 Terry Taurus . I bought this without testing anything and knowing it wikk need the front wall rebuilt and the rear wall rebuilt but i think i am up to the job. My only concern is the floor and how to get it under the walls but will cross that bridge when the time comes.

Hi Ljellio and welcome aboard. Rehabilitating an old RV is always a challenge but usually a fun project too. You can get lots of help here, so feel free to ask questions. Also use the Search function to find previous discussions on a variety of topics.

I think you are right about the restore but I am very optomistic . I have had some good luck so far most everything seems to work the hot water heater is a question mark thus far as the gas valve is in BAD shape but tank doesnt leek so that is a plus. Also put a new thermo coupler in the furnace and it is up and running. Fridge isnt in great shape but is getting coldish on AC have not fooled with Propane and not sure I will. And I think the roof AC/Heater will work with a good cleaning and perhaps a recharge. All in all i think Im in good shape and that i got a good deal at $350.00.
