Hello from North Alabama

Been reading this forum for a few months and decided to join so maybe I can help now and then.

I'm on my third RV and looking now for the fourth. Love the current Beaver Marquis 40 footer, 1986, but have lost my mind (again!) and now must have slideouts. I seem to be focusing on the Monaco Signature's, 2002 to 2005, as long as it has at least the two slideouts in the living room area.

These days, I prefer dry camping in forests but locations are tough to find. When the price per night of campgrounds started exceeding motel rates, I lost all interest in campgrounds.

Enjoy motorcycle and airplane "rallies" and travel with my little mutt, a Miniature Schnauzer.

Got my first RV because my job required full-time travel, as I was a contract worker at nuclear power plants, doing radiation safety.
Another good reason to have my RV is for those nasty weather times when the power goes out for days at a time. I can stay warm and have water to drink, well, for a few days anyway.

My wife and I have lived full time in a 40', 3 slide, '03 Signature for 8 years now. I can recommend the coach highly. It has been pretty much trouble free. Of course, the previous maintenance on an 11 year old coach is extremely important.

Hello there, SkyPuppy. Yet another resident of LA, way down in Ozark. Might see you are one of the Fly-Ins, as my DH has an Ercoupe at Blackwell Field and is a member of EAA 351 out of Enterprise.

Georgia in Alabama

Might have met at SERFI when I used to volunteer RV stuff there.
