Hello from North Carolina

Hello everyone...

Experienced towable RVer here who just invested in his first Class A, a Bounder of '87 vintage.

She has a custom paint job courtesy of the previous owner (at least no one will be spouting off meth-laced one-liners related to the 'Breaking Bad' TV series), and is definitely in for some repairs, updates and modifications.

She will serve time as both a full-time 'second home' for my out-of-town career commitments as well as the occasional jaunt for a family vacation.

I'm amazed at the collective knowledge here, and I'm sure you'll see my inquisitive posts as I tackle the many projects that are bouncing around in my head in the days, weeks and months to come.

PO is a mechanic by trade. Chevy 454 and 475 tranny was serviced, radiator flushed, new U-joints, new brakes and brake hoses, and the Onan genny was serviced. He took it on a 2 week 1,800 mile round trip from NC to Orlando, Savanah, and Charleston without any issues. They stayed in parks and boondocked in parking lots, so apparently it's in pretty decent shape. He claims he averaged 10 mpg running at the limit or above, running the genny on the road, with a toad attached.
