It is a 1985 Coachman 33' President model...I am not sure of chassis...but since he is a "Workhorse tech at a GM dealership... I will guess it has a GM engine...but then... I only know the year and model, for sure

Hi All,
Hey new-to-rving, first off welcome to what I think is the best RV site out there !! Best of luck with the RV project you have taken on, and I am sure if you have some questions about the rebuild, you will find the answers here! Also since I see you are in CT, I hope you have or will check out the NorEasters group here on iRV2, and when your rig is ready for a trip maybe it will be to one of our Rallies!

Well Howdy and Welcome to iRV2.
Great to have you with us. Yea they all think we are nuts, but my wife Cheri loves to go out camping. You need to pamper them a bit make a meal and do the dishes half the time so she can rest too and then its a shared thing.
Take your time fixing it up and make it yours.
Merry Christmas and have fun.

the unit is 33 ft long 15,500 gvw, on a chevy p chassis it has a 454 cu.in. big block and a turbo 400 trans, 19.5 wheels, 10 lug rear, 5lug front and independent front suspension, about 20,000 miles on it, play around and got all the appliances and the generator working. cleaned it up and had my kids camp out in it a few times over the summer in the back yard with the neighbor's kids. the picture is labor day, had a party and made it a partymobile.
