Hello from Prescott, AZ

Just changed to a motorhome after 20 years of towing a 5th wheel. Lots to learn and hope this site can help.

from NH. You'll love your choice, made the same switch a few years ago. Had a C then A then 5er, now back to the A and I'll stay for awhile. Good luck with your coach and have safe travels.

Congrats!

We love Prescott. Clean air in the high desert and fine off-road touring. Big Bug Mesa will be where we go first this Fall.

Hi Jim! Welcome to IRV2! It's great to have you join us!

I did the same thing last year after 10 years pulling a 5er. It's a HUGE adjustment, but we love it! Enjoy the forum!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Sorry,

It is a 2008 Fleetwood Bounder 38F. It is a diesel pusher and is the one with the 1 & 1/2 bath and a mid ship placement of the TV. We have a 2012 Jeep Liberty as the tow vehicle. We have only one trip under our belt, but have many more planned with the local RV group and on our own. We like trips that are a few days to 6 weeks or so. We still like to go home and spend time in Prescott. We also have a toy hauler and a RZR so we can still go dry camping and spend time in the woods.

Just a simple hi to all.

I have been looking at this forum for a long time. Finally, last night said to myself why not, so here I am. Have been in the RV world for about 13 yrs. Just purchased a very nice 2004 Monaco Signature. One of the reasons I joined was to get some real world input on the Detroit Diesel Series 60 engine. How does this motor work in the real world, example how is the pulling power, fuel mileage, any info would be very much appreciated. One big issue is I didn't get any manuals on this motor, example what are the oil and coolant capacities, what are the filter numbers for the engine oil, the fuel and the coolant. Was there a book or any other type of information given. Again, any information would be very much appreciated. Thank You for any info.
