I know you speak French in Quebec, I've been to Montreal MANY times, and it's my favorite city on this side of Atlantic. I grew up in Europe, and your name reminded me of those times. I've never encountered the name "Jasmin" anywhere in France, or Canada.

However,......in Croatia, Serbia, and Bosnia (especially), this name is abundant.

Welcome to the forum. Ahhh, Quebec. Beautiful province and lots of great holiday memories. I was born and raised in BC but still think Quebec City is one of the most beautiful and interesting cities in North America. Ne vous inquietez pas pour son anglais. C'est presque parfait et mieux que mon Francais.

I agree with earlier comments suggesting you visit Vancouver Island and Victoria. It has some of that charm that you find in many Quebec cities.

Bienvenue.
