Been away from RV'ng for a while, but ready to return. Looking forward to learning from all of the seasoned veterans of the road.

Need to know how and where to donate an old RV to a reputable charity to make room for a replacement. Want to make sure we find a cause that will truly benefit from the donation. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Evaluating 40'ers including Winnebago Vectra; Monaco Diplomat and / or HR Endeavor. Any experiences with these coaches in the '06 - '08 age would be helful.

Thanks and looking forward to hearing from you all!

Howdy neighbor (from Manteca)!! Can't help you with the listed models, but can share with you the 06 Newmar Dutchstar on a Spartan MM chassis. Previous coach was a Monaco Dynasty.

We are neighbors, for sure (Tracy). Just beginning the search. First order of business is to make space. Have a very old and stale Southwind that needs to go. Been to De Martini in Grass Valley to look Monacos and HR's. Just went to La Mesa in Dublin to check out the Vectra and Alegro Bus.

Why'd you move away from Monaco? Besides that little bankrupcy thing , I mean.

Lots to learn. Lots to see.

I moved away before the Bankrupsy thing. I drove M/H's for Guaranty(Gilroy) for 3 years part time and had an opportunity to drive and see all brands. I was impressed with the workmanship of Newmar and Tiffin. I really liked the Spartan Chassis. So when we found our coach the floor plan, Spartan chassis, Cummins Engine, and so on sold us. Spartan has really stepped up to help anytime I had an issue as well as Newmar and Cummins. Bye the way when you do buy and need service on the house portion (vice chassis) checkout Steve's Cherokee RV service in Stockton. They are really good and affordable. (209 465 1425).
