Hello from Seabeck, WA

We are new to the iRV2 Forums and just want to say hi. We are leaving the Pacific Northwest in search of a dryer environment to retire to. Our rig is a 2002 Fleetwood Terra motorhome and we are towing a car trailer with a Subaru Forester aboard. We have already experienced our initial RV disasters (water pump leak including soaked carpet, and a plugged toilet); it's not an adventure until something goes wrong!
Anyway, looking forward to the forums and information sharing.

We have been in Seabeck for last 6 months, though we now reside in Tx. We lived in Seabeck 15 yrs. Safe travels and welcome to the forums.

Unless you want 95F, 95% humidity and 3" of rain in 45 minutes every summer afternoon, stay away from the SE states (VA to GA).

We were never so pleased as when Boeing called me at NASA-Langley (Hampton, VA) to ask if I'd like to come back after three years on lay-off status. We were on the road in less than a week!

We are in Gig Harbor RV resort working out the last of the bugs. We lived on Larson Lane for years.
Haven't figured out the private message functionality on the forum yet.

Thanks Frank,
We plan on staying in the Western U.S.; Nancy can't take much humidity.
We are big fans of Whidbey Island and the Olympic Peninsula. Enjoyed the wooden boat festival in Anacortes too!
