Hello from southern California

Greetings from Southern California! We just traded up to a 2015 Tuscany 44MT, we love the rig but was somewhat sad to part ways with our 2004 Damon Intruder 373. We bought it new in 2004 and logged over 82k miles travelling all over the country with the kids during summer vacations. We especially miss the big picture window in the back of the Damon along with the seating area. What I won't miss is the V10 engine in the Damon as it struggled to pull our 2006 Saturn ION up the slightest incline. I won't bad mouth the Damon, it served us well for 11 years with little or no problems, great memories. Looking forward to putting the miles on the new Tuscany, we'll be towing a 2006 Saturn Outlook and I'm more than sure those 450 horses will be able to handle any incline...

Looking forward to participating in the Forums

Safe Travels,

Randell

Beautiful coach. Love the outside color choice. It makes a great statement. I'm sure the memories will exceed the others you already have. Enjoy and have safe travels.

Thank you!

Thank you all for the warm welcomes and nice comments, very much appreciated. For Dsrtrider, we were set up in San Diego, Metro KOA on our initial Shakedown run, San Diego is about 110 miles from home, Rancho Cucamonga...

We are almost neighbors. I'm in Cherry Valley (on the mountain above Beaumont). Had my gas station in Rancho for many years. Congrats on you new coach. I envy your tag (I just bought one without it!).

Thank you. Yes, Cherry Valley not that far from me. I've been tot he RV park there once, about 7 years ago... The closest I get out that way now is Yucippa, very nice campground there.. How do you like your rig?

Our "new" rig? We are totally in love with it! Amazed at the quality, and the condition after 21 years (as old as our daughter!). No wonder it was sold for 375K back in 1995 (a lot of money back then).

Right now we finished detailing of the interior, the weather came in, so we have to wait on the exterior detail. Can't wait to take her to the beach.
