My DW and I are four years away from going fulltime, and we have lots of learning to do. In December we bought a "learning" RV. Over the next two years we'll research travel trailers, 5th wheels, and motor homes. Eventually we'll decide on which type of RV we want, and then we'll spend the next year researching that particular class. In three years we hope to be actively looking for our RV. Once we have it purchased we can to whatever repairs and upgrades we feel are necessary. Then the "For Sale" sign goes up here, and we pray for a buyer.

At least, that's the plan.

We're somewhat over 100 miles from Joplin, so Sunday's tornado didn't affect us at all. Neither did yesterday's much smaller one that hit Sedalia, about 50 miles north of us.

Another welcome from the St. Louis area. I grew up in the general Joplin area, many years ago. We were between Joplin and Carthage, real close to Webb City but in the rural area.

We're newbies to this forum, oldies to the RV scene. Also from SW MO, on Tablerock Lake, Golden. This is my first post in fact. I better go introduce myself. Welcome!
