Welcome to the best. Please let us know what you buy and all the details.
Have been to LD's many times and enjoy walking the lots to see the new units.
Please post often

Ken;

Welcome to iRV2. Congratulations on your decision to purchase a RV. I purchased my Chieftain from LD and I have been very happy with it.

Thanks for the Welcomes!

depchief,
It can get addictive! My son (14 years old) actually likes to go there and look at all of the RV's. I couldn't tell you how many days that we have done that. And when I say days, I am talking about 6-8 hours! Time seems to fly!

TXiceman,
Will do! I have put down a deposit and now trying to figure out which options are needed, which I am hoping that you guys with experience can help me out with.
I am a person that seems to go overboard and do what ever I do to excess and I have no doubt the same will happen with RV's.
I will post pictures of the new, as is, and then try to document all of the changes that I make, which, knowing me will be a bunch!
(Compliments to all of the staff here for an excellent cyber community!)

RV Wizard,
I am forunate to live in Tampa and have Lazy Days as my local RV dealer. That place is amazing! Why didn't I get into RV'ing sooner?? Boats are a given and tent camping, however, it has became too hard to set up "not your average tent camp"...(see aforementioned statement about excess... )

Chickadee,
I am knee deep in the hoopla at the moment, trying to get all of my work done and get this RV spec'ed out so it will be ready to roll as planned. I am planning on taking delivery on Thursday, June 25 and staying overnight at LazyDays, and if all is well, leaving Friday, heading to the weigh scales, then probably to the Ocala National Forest for the weekend and hope to have a cup of coffee with RV Roamer [Gary] and any other iRV2 family members that are in the area.
I am not sure how your schedule is, however, I am always up for meeting good people, having a cup of coffee and good conversation!

Petro,
Thanks! I have a lot to learn! But learning is one of my hobbies!

Thanks again everyone!!!

There seems to be a large number of board members from the Tampa Bay area (we're in South Tampa). Welcome to the group -- just bought our first Class A MH last month and just finished a shakedown cruise at Rally Park in LazyDays.

Like you, I have been tempted to buy a whole lot of add-on toys with my prior RVs. This time I held back so far, confining my purchases to safety-related things (tire pressure monitor, circuit tester/surge protector). There'll be more, but I find I make better decisions when I know the rig better.

Enjoy the RV. We are fortunate to live in an area where you can choose from hundreds of campgrounds year-rorund all within a couple of hours' drive.
