I just found this fantastic site so wanted to say hello! My husband is Jim & I'm Rosetta and I'll be doing most of the posting. We've only been doing this wonderful thing called "RVing" for 3 years now & wish many times that we had started years ago. We had always traveled by car or plane (usually a business trip turned pleasure). We both love traveling and my husband loves to drive. So when a ruptured disc/back surgery left me with sciatic nerve damage, I decided to find us a better way to travel! I sure was not going to give it up! I researched for over two years to find the perfect vehicle for us. I'm an interior designer, therefore, extremely pickey about what I'm living in no matter where I am! And my husband rides a Harley & collects classic cars & he is over the top with his pickey-ness (if there is such a word!). After setting our budget, driving about 10 different brands of motorhomes, we came to the conclusion that we would select a used non-slide Newell. We found one that had over 100,000 miles on it and thus began our love of a new life-style! We've met some of the most wonderful people as we've traveled from state to state! Everyone's been extremely kind and helpful to show us "how to" do the things we didn't know how to do! We've learned a lot just by trial & error, which I guess everyone does. We love this lifestyle & way of travel so much we have recently traded our non-slide for a two slide which we pickup the first of June! Anyway, we're the happiest when we're headed down the road to "somewhere" and another new adventure! I hope we are able to meet some of you in our travels! Rosetta - Keller, TX

Rosetta, welcome to IRV2....
Look down in the area for the South Central section and find the Texas Boomers. There are several activities planned.
