Hello from the cradle of the Confederacy

Was looking around for a vintage camper sight and found yawl. We have a 86 Airstream Sovereign 31' that I have had to do a fair amount of work on and we love it and it is ready for the road.

As well I got a basket case in frame only configuration as a 21' trailer with the body completely removed. I needed something to carry large/long light things on like trusses, bar joists etc and I need a spare 14" wheel or two as the present tires are weather cracked so if I lose one there is no big problem as long as I have a spare.

I have been adding steel to frame to support decking and will be running wire for lights maybe this week and hopefully adding the decking to it soon.

It has Dexter 3500 lb dual axles with E brakes and wheels are known as Star wheels I understand. 4 lug 9.44" lug pattern with a + shaped cutout in center of wheel. I understand these rims went out of production in 1980 and that millions were made.

Anybody know where I might could get a spare?

Most tire dealers can sell you both tire and rim.. Or there is the junk yard/salvage route

the cradle of the Confederacy , Would that be South Carolina?
Home is where I park it!
