Hello from the east TX pineywoods. We have had RVs in the past, but never traveled with them.. just kept them at our hunting camp or the lake. I recently bought the book about cowgirls in the fly. I so want to buy a vintage RV and go out on an adventure. I hope to learn alot about RVing from all of you.. the in's and out's. Looking forward to reading your posts.

Welcome txgirl from another pineywoods east Texan.

TXiceman is an expert on vintage RV's. He just upgraded(?) from the Silver Twinkie to the Silver Grande.

Don't be a stranger to the forum.

Jim, are you from Elkhart? I was just there a couple of weeks ago on Lake Ioni. My husband tells me, " you don't want to pull an RV." He told me to just take my suburban and sleep in it.. Isn't it funny how people are always telling us what we want to do and what we don't want to do. Ugh... I guess that means I won't be getting one. But I still have it in the back of my mind. So... I still may get one. Thanks to everyone for the welcome.

I have two friends that live on Ioni and I even know how to pronounce it properly. Was for the gators in the lake.
