I just joined today but have been RVing on and off for several years. I recently became the 2nd owner of a 2003 Mountain Aire 3778 8.1 L Vortec on a W-22 Workhorse chassis with 28,000 miles in great condition. This was after 2 years with a 1989 Vanguard 25' Class B+ and a long stretch in between with no RV since my VW pop-top camper van in the late 70's. I think I have finally gotten into the kind of RV that my wife will enjoy. Now retired and looking forward to some long trips, but it is currently in storage until the Spring melt here in Minnesota. So the trips are a few months in the future.

I'll be towing my 2001 Chevy Tracker LT 4 down.

I plan to do some modifications myself and as much service as I can myself. I have enjoyed reading the Newmar Owners forum tips and modifications thread.

Maybe I'll see some of you on the road in the future.

Welcome & congrats on the new RV. I am sure the spring can't get here soon enough for you & the Mrs. (DW). You've come to the right place, if you need any help or suggestions on those mods just ask away.

Hi Jerry! Welcome to IRV2! Congrats on the new rig! I don't want any part of Minnesota! It gets cold enough for me here in MS! Don't be a stranger now! Have fun, keep warm, and God bless!

Hello and Welcome! Spring will come to NC in March, so come January we are off to Florida where it's warm. Good luck on the retirement and happy travels.

Welcome CaptainJerry. Welcome to the forum. Glad you joined us. Instead of storing it for the winter, may one of those long jounies on down to Florida and stay where it's warm.
