Hi - Just signed up today, though I've been lurking for quite awhile... this seems like a wonderful forum, and I'm looking forward to being a part of it!

Although we've always enjoyed camping, it has been several years since we've camped (tent and popup) and we'd love to get back in it again. We're to the age now, though, that we'd like to step up to something a little more comfortable.

We're hoping to find an older 5th wheel, and would ideally like a 4-seasons type as we'd also like to use it here at the home as a "guest house" or even as an extension of our regular living quarters as our home is small. The problem, we're finding, is that due to the extra weight these units run, our truck is probably not up to the task. (3500 5.7 gas 4x4 dually)

I plan to post some specific tow capacity questions in the forum, but for now wanted to say "hi" and am looking forward to making new acquaintances here! Seems campers are some of the friendliest people around, and it's so good having places like this to "meet" and learn from each other!
