I'm an independent contractor and I mostly work in the south. I just "upgraded" from a 74 model dodge sportsman MH by rockwood, 22' to a 84 model Kit roadranger 28' goose neck. The new to me kit needs as much work as the dodge did when I first got it. I don't mind doing the work myself, I have all the tools and I know when I'm getting over my head. The Kit needs a lot of work, floor covering, resealing the roof (its metal), cleaning the gas lines and appliances, a couple interior panels, and paint on the inside. I am actually looking forward to the repairs so I can build a few new parts like reinforcing a wall for my flat screen and hiding the wires for the speakers. Plus I know the repairs are done right and I won't have to wonder whats going to start leaking next.
