Hello from the Ozarks, Ozark Arkansas

I'm an independent contractor and I mostly work in the south. I just "upgraded" from a 74 model dodge sportsman MH by rockwood, 22' to a 84 model Kit roadranger 28' goose neck. The new to me kit needs as much work as the dodge did when I first got it. I don't mind doing the work myself, I have all the tools and I know when I'm getting over my head. The Kit needs a lot of work, floor covering, resealing the roof (its metal), cleaning the gas lines and appliances, a couple interior panels, and paint on the inside. I am actually looking forward to the repairs so I can build a few new parts like reinforcing a wall for my flat screen and hiding the wires for the speakers. Plus I know the repairs are done right and I won't have to wonder whats going to start leaking next.

Hi Hubcap and welcome to IRV2. Sounds like you have a big project ahead of you. Keep us posted as the project goes along and be sure to take some pictures, before and after. There is always a lot of interest in renovations.

Were planning a trip to The Lake of the Ozarks next summer. We meet my sister and her husband and they like to rent a cabin. Are you aware of any camp grounds on the lake that also rent cabins?

Thanks Dick

Oh yea it's going to be a good project. Working 7 days a week slows down my progress but there will be lots of pictures.

Theberrys check out Campgrounds and Cabins - Lake of the Ozarks Camping. Visit our cabins and campgrounds for camping in the Lake of the Ozarks Missouri area. View pictures and upcoming events for Cross Creek rv park. They have cabins and a campground. There are several more, even some of the big resorts offer rv parking. You might try calling the local camber of commerce in the town you are looking to stay near.
