Hello from the Sierra foothills

Sue and I (Bob) just bought our 1994 Southwind and will pick it up tomorrow. We look forward to many happy days on the road and meeting many of you. We just sold our boat, no more sailing the Sea of Cortez, and this is our first motorhome. It's probable we'll have a lot of questions starting tomorrow!

More retired-boaters! We had a sailboat 10 years ago and cruised Mexico for a year. You can't beat exploring the Sea by sea. We now RV in Mexico (mainland) and are having a ball! So many RVers we meet are now land-cruising! do you have any plans to RV in Mexico? We're in Zihuatanejo...

Have a great time with your new home on wheels!

We had to choose between a boat (I wanted) and a 5th wheel (she wanted) for our 30th anniversary so we compromised and ended up with the trailer and truck. We are also new here and would like to welcome you. I actually am very excited about the truck and trailer.

Yes! We would love to RV in Mexico. We have a lot of friends in La Paz and San Carlos who we'd love to visit. Having driven Hwy 1 down the Baja several times, we're familiar with the shaky roads. We drive this beast for the first time today and barring any problems we'll probably visit Mexico within the year. How much more trouble than docking a boat in a crosswind can it be?
