Hello from the sunny south?????

Greetings from iced over Lexington, SC. I would like to introduce myself & my DW . My name is Richard & my DW is midget. We are new rv ers and just joined the group. This is my first "real" rv in 35 years. LOL. ( Telling my age).
My wife and I look forward to making new friends & getting back on the road again. I am 8newly retired and disabled but that won't slow us down.
We enjoy reading some of the recent posts and meeting some of you'all.

Hello & welcome. We are "stuck" down in Key West and hoping to travel back up to Philly on Monday/Tuesday. Hope your roads are clear by then.

Richard:

Hello and welcome from a close neighbor in Greensboro. Hope you're not iced in, as it appears we are!

Also, welcome to retirement... you've selected the greatest possible pastime for a retiree. We've been in it 40 years, retired, only 6 yrs. And disabled? Well, there's all sorts of add-ons that can make setup etc., almost effortless.

May I suggest you join a camping club? We've been members of a local Good Sam chapter for many years, and the club includes some of our best friends. We get together at various campground (usually within a 2-3 hour drive) monthly, and wouldn't trade it for the world; great to be camping with friends you know.

You have to come north if you want to feel iced over.

John, you don't understand!
Down here in NC they close schools and declare a national emergency with 1/2" of snow
We got 8" yesterday, and the whole world came to a standstill
