Hello from Todd and Meg

My wife and I just brought home our first RV and we think she is a beauty! We fell in love with this 33 foot 2000 Rexhall Rexair with 2 slides and a Ford V10. It is in overall great shape for her age but there are a few things that need attention. We live in Ohio but "Tinkerbell" is a one owner rig from Florida. I am a hands on guy that works on everything but this is my biggest vehicle I have ever owned by far. I plan on doing all the maintenance myself. I am looking at the RV Repair and Maintenance Manual (RV Repair & Maintenance Manual) Paperback
by Bob Livingston (Author) and wonder if its worth the pricetag? We planned on doing numerous short boondocking trips over the next few years until we go full time gypsy living. I have a lot of homework to do so i can be up to speed on every system on my rig. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to all the good times on the road with my Wife and two Labs. Take care all.

You will find many repair procedures outlined here by either doing a search or just asking a question.

If you spend some time reading applicable forums you'll even find answers to questions you did not know you had.

Howdy and welcome, and congrats on the rig! I can't say whether the maintenance manual would be worth buying, but it can't hurt. There is also a wealth of information on this site, so scan all the sections and post any questions you have. Also check Youtube for LOTS of RV maintenance videos. Good luck and have fun.
