Hello from VA

As I have been researching, I've noticed that there are lots of folks (like my wife and I) that are looking to have a change of lifestyle.

I am retired Navy. We are looking to start our RV adventures in the fall of 2020. I am just in the beginning stages of researching the different types of RV's, pros/cons, etc.

It will just be the wife & I, maybe our dog (she is 17 yrs old). I was born/raised on the west side of WA state on a dairy farm.

Welcome aboard, OldSaltyDog! My DH is retired Navy and I'm from the eastern (DRY!) side of Washington State. How did I get to VA? I was in the Navy, too. That's where we met (he's originally from Richmond, VA).

Welcome to the forum.

You are joining a good group of folks here with good info to share.

Get out there and look at as many rigs as you can. Remember floor plan is most important no matter what kind of rig you end up with. Rent a couple different rigs for a couple of weekends and see what works for you.

Good luck and enjoy the adventure

Thanks everyone. We have been researching different types of RV's, still not sure what is best for our needs. If I have any other questions, I'll be sure to ask.
