Anyway, just joined the site, but I have been lurking for a while and find this to be the friendliest rv site so far. I have a 36' Kz Sportsman Toy Hauler with three slides. I am about half way through a make over of sorts. I full body painted it, graphics are cut but not laid yet,(Appendectomy cost me a week before trip) replaced all the trim, latches (still waiting for a few things) and did 19.5" wheel swap! I got tired of unexpected blow outs ruining trips, so no more!!!!! This required moving the leafs to the lowest hole on the hangers which I drilled 1.25" farther apart to get proper wheel spacing and going with longer shackles. I then welded steel channel from hanger to hanger to compensate for the added stress of the lift. I went ahead and put good shocks on at the same time. I modified the bay to fit our pwc (removable bump out in tailgate) with a winch inside to facilitate pulling it in. I also added a hitch properly with welded frame tie ins while replacing the rear floor with 3/4 marine grade plywood. First 1300 mile trip, night and day difference from 16" wheels. Best modification yet! I'll get some pics up ASAP
Steve

At the resort (Bluewater Key Rv resort). Scooter in the bed is what we take down to Key West and drop it off at one of the parking garages for the entire time we are there, so all we have to do is to hop in the truck drive down to KW and use the scooter to get around. Then use the ski to explore everywhere else! It is awesome this way.
