Deb and I moved out of a '94 Coachmen MH and into a '06 Everest 5er about 3 months ago. I have received some good advice about specific issues with the Everest by browsing around.

Our first outting was dry camping at Richmond NASCAR. All went well there.

I retired from the USN in '96 (CWO4). Went back to work for the Navy and will leave there for permanent retirement in Dec 2011. Deb retired from Lockheed Martin April 2010. We are about to hit the road.

In addition to reaping some knowledge from this site, I hope to contribute some as well. I was an Electronics Tech in the Navy, Network Engineer in federal service and pretty good at welding, mechanics, and machine work.

Deb was a computer geek for LMCO and enjoys sewing and going to concerts now that she is retired.

Perhaps we will run into some of you on the road. Next big planned outing is to the north and then west.

Chet

Did you camp at the flea market? We used to go to every richmond race but ended with a daughter late in life. Retirement went out the window. She is turning 6 so next year we may see you at the track. Look for the eagle globe and anchor high over the rest of the campers. USN is always welcome if you can take and deliver some ribbing.

We camp in Lot F at Gate 7. The Dam Neck CPOA used to work the food stands to make money but that became a loosing situation. Now we just go up and enjoy the festivities.
